Leighton Meester, an American singer, model, actor and singer, is a multi-talented performer. Her best-known work is playing 'Blair Waldorf,' on the television drama "Gossip Girl." Leighton Meester's career began as a girl. She appeared on a stage in her home town a production of the 'Wizard of Oz', which inspired her to pursue acting. Her first job was acting in commercials as well as modeling. When she was modeling she was a part of major brands like "Herbal Essences,"" "Vera Wang," "Jimmy Choo," and Ralph Lauren. Though she began her profession as an actress she was a model first. The first stage of her career was model, however later began acting. In addition to acting, she's also written songs with Robin Thicke of 'Cobra Starship. She's written many songs and music in collaboration. The Billboard magazine has featured her tracks as "Top Hits." Leighton Meester has also delivered her own Broadway performance as part of the stage production of 'Of Mice and Men.
